TIM SALAZAR IS EXECUTIVE CHEF OF ASSETS GRILLE AND S.W. BREWING COMPANY. HE BEGAN HIS CULINARY CAREER FIFTEEN YEARS AGO ON THE SEATTLE WATERFRONT. RELOCATED IN 1985 TO ALBUQUERQUE VIA RATON N.M. COMING UP THROUGH A NUMBER OF TOP RESTAURANTS IN OUR REGION HAS GIVEN TIM THE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE TO BECOME AN EXECUTIVE CHEF SPECIALIZING IN LATIN AND NEW MEXICAN CUISINE. TIM HAS ORGANIZED AND WORKED MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF CATERING FUNCTIONS INCLUDING PRESIDENTIAL FUNDRAISERS ALSO THE WORLDS LARGEST TURKEY DINNER FOR THE HOMELESS. A CURRENT MEMBER OF THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN CULINARY FEDERATION AND PURSUING CERTIFICATION FOR EXECUTIVE CHEF LEAVES LITTLE TIME LEFT FOR COACHING L.L.BASBALL AND BOXING, TWO OF HIS FAVORITE THINGS TO DO. HE IS MARRIED WITH THREE CHILDREN ONE OF WHICH SAYS THAT SHE WANTS TO BECOME A CHEF WHEN SHE GETS BIG. TIM FIGURES ONE OF THE THREE MIGHT BECOME A CULINARIAN AND KEEP THE COOKING TRADITION ALIVE. |
