A ten time winner of the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine, Doc Martin's has just been awarded their "Best of Award of Excellence" for the sixth consecutive year, the only restaurant in New Mexico so honored. The award dubs our list "one of the outstanding wine lists in the world." The honor is bestowed on the basis of the list's breadth, depth, balance and other conditions such as inventory, storage and value/price.
"Wine is not a sacrament, it is a beverage," says Craig Dunn, Cellar Master at Doc Martin's for the last eight years. "We try to price wine, even vintage wines, so that they are an excellent value at every level. The wine list is not a museum piece, it is a menu; and hopefully, it creates opportunities for memorable food and wine experiences."
