Since 1983, the Rio Grande Cantina has prided itself on serving New Mexican dishes of gourmet quality. Fresh, homegrown red and green chile is prepared without the flour and cornstarch fillers common to most New Mexican restaurants. Our tortillas are fried in pure canola oil. Our salsa is made with FRESH tomatoes, onions, cilantro and Jalapeños. This salsa won "Best Salsa" at the 1992 New Mexico Fiery Foods Show against hundreds of competitors. Our beef fajitas are still made with traditional skirt steak - there are less expensive cuts available, but we have stayed with what's authentic. Thanks to our loyal customers for knowing the difference. Many of our items are available in bulk, take-home quantities.
