Tim's Stray Dog Chile

Green and red chile have long been the staple of Northern New Mexican cooking and are the key ingredient to our menu. All of our green chile is flame-roasted and carefully peeled taking care that the natural juices are not lost. This method gives our chile its wonderful flavor and heat that is not found in processed chiles (Bags of Tim's frozen green chile is available for take home). As the green chile is allowed to dry it turns a beautiful, deep, dark, red. These red chiles are then ground into a powder. This red chile powder is what we use to make our red chile. We think we offer the tastiest chiles in New Mexico. Both our green and red chiles are completely vegetarian. Keeping the preparation of our chiles simple and natural allows you to enjoy their delicious flavor.

Caution: Our chile is not for amateurs.  It's extra tasty, but it can be spicy - it is serious chile.

DAILY 3pm - APRES SKI HOT WINGS!!
Chicken wings drenched in our secret sauce that will knock your ski boots
off. Served with celery and ranch dressing.

Every Tuesday night this ski season is
"DOWN HOME COOKIN' NIGHT"
Hearty portions of southern-style grub. Stuff like chicken fried steak, BBQ
brisket, meatloaf with mashed potatoes.
Supper is served starting at 5:30pm.

FISH & CHIPS FRIDAY
Three beer-battered cod fillets with skin-on fries served with tartar sauce.
Malt vinegar available by request. $6.50
"Catch yours" starting around 3pm.

SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
Featuring Southwest, Cajun and American style dinner specials. Just to name
a few, entrees will include fresh fish, specialty steaks and local flavors
using seasonal ingredients.
Dinner starts at 5:30
